Get Creative, Be Safe

I am looking for young people to help me spread the word on the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO), the silent killer and enter a competition that could see them win top cash prizes for themselves and their school or organisation.

I’m looking for all different types of entries from children aged between 5 and 11. Submissions could range from any form of media, such as:

  • Eye-catching cartoons and videos
  • Models
  • Short stories or poems
  • Leading assemblies at school or your local Cubs or Brownie group
  • Making a fact sheet to share with your family and virtually with friends

As long as you are spreading awareness of carbon monoxide, anything counts!

Find out more about the dangers of carbon monoxide.

The prizes

Each network, will pick a winner from Key Stage 1 and 2 from within their network, who will each receive £150 for themselves and £300 for their school or organisation.

Each network winner will then go forward to a national competition where they have a chance to win a further £300 for themselves and £600 for their school or organisation*.

All entries must be received by 12 May and judging will take place by the end June and all winners will be notified by email.
